The Polish-German conference “Germany and Poland: partnership for Europe? Polish and German ideas about the role of both countries in Europe” on 29.11.2013 at the Institute for Western Affairs

The Institute for Western Affairs and Konrad- Adenauer-Stiftung in Warsaw would like to invite you to take part in the conference: "Germany and Poland: partnership for Europe? Polish and German ideas about the role of both countries in Europe"
The conference will be held on 29.11.2013 at the Institute for Western Affairs .

The organizers intend to answer to the question whether the Polish political elite are ready to strengthen cooperation with Germany becoming an undisputed leader of the European Union, as well as whether the German political elite perceive Poland as a necessary partner in the process of intensifying European integration.

The meeting will be attended by renowned researchers as panellists and experts in the area of the Polish-German and German foreign policy, including prof Marek A.Cichocki, programme director of Natolin European Centre, Piotr Buras, director of the Warsaw office of the European Council on Foreign Relations, prof SGH Krzysztof Miszczak, Dr Kai-Ola Lang of Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik in Berlin, prof Gunther Hellmann of Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt and prof Stefan Garsztecki of Technische Universität in Chemnitz.
