Watch the pre-recorded lecture “At the origins of the Institute for Western Affairs. The role of Poznań’s Inter-War-Period scholars in creating the narrative of early medieval links between Poland and Pomerania”, in which dr Paweł Migdalski of the University of Szczecin describes the pre-World-War-II accomplishments of Poznań historians, archeologists and linguists. Dr Migdalski is an expert on Pomerania and Western Slavs and the winner of the 2020 Gerard Labuda Award. The meeting took place on March 4, 2020 at the Institute for Western Affairs. It was held within the framework of the Network of Western and Northern Territories.
