The bad condition of the transatlantic pact is among the more important problems of current international politics. Has Barack Obama managed to restore the harmony in the relations with Europeans during nearly two years of his presidency? Was he able to fill in the transatlantic pact with a new content? Was there in European capitals a greater understanding for expectations and strivings of the USA?
