No 48 - Unification tendencies of the radical right wing in Germany
On the 15th of January 2011 in Berlin, boards and members of two german radical right wing parties were celebrating the unification of their organisations. According to the unification agreement, since 1st of January 2011 the two parties: Nationaldemokratische Partie Deutschlands (NPD) and Deutsche Volksunion (DVU) should have been replaced by the new party: NPD - Die Volksunion, popularly called NPDVU or ‘seal union'. However it turned out that the ceremony has taken place too soon, despite the fact that on 30th December 2010 leaders of both parties signed the notarial unification act.
