Federal Republic of Germany since the beginning of the integration processes in Europe, spoke in favor of expanding the European Communities with new countries. Due to its central geographic location and enormous economic potential, Germany were specifically interested in the success of Central European transformation and liquidation of the division of Europe. To commitment towards Poland's access to the European Communities appealed both historical, political and economic arguments.
