IZ Policy Papers nr 11/2013: Polityka polonijna w ocenie jej wykonawców i adresatów (Polish Diaspora Policy in the Evaluation of its Performers and Recipients)
Since 2011 there has been a process which can be called the creation of the "new" Polish Diaspora policy. In contrast to the previous concepts the policy has not been described in the documents of a strategic nature, but it has adopted rather a form of a short-term plans and specific actions.
The aim of the publication is to present the results of the diagnosis concerning opinions and attitudes of Polish Diaspora and Poles living abroad to the Polish Diaspora policy. The publication includes the results of the research project entitled „Polityka polonijna w praktyce" (The Polish Diaspora Policy in Practice) funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the plan of cooperation with Polish Diaspora and Poles abroad in 2013.This project has had two main objectives: to raise the awareness of Poles living abroad and interested in the support of the advancement of Poland and Polish culture. The other one has been to inform the decision-makers of planning and policy implementation about the attitudes of Poles living abroad to the guidelines of the new Polish Diaspora policy.
