Director Dr. Michal Nowosielski

A sociologist specializing in research on public policy, public diplomacy, Polish-German relations, and various aspects of migration, in particular the integration of migrants, policy towards the diaspora, and the functioning of the Polish community in Germany. He has coordinated numerous scientific and expert projects, collaborating with public administration, the legislature, academic circles, the third sector, non-governmental organizations, and business partners.

He is a professor at WSB Merito University in Gdańsk and a collaborator at the Centre for Migration Research at the University of Warsaw. He is also the director of the Florian Znaniecki Scientific Foundation. He is a member of the IMISCOE Standing Committee DIVCULT and the Pomeranian Council for Regional Migration Policy. In 2015-2022, he was a member of the Migration Research Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

He is a graduate of the Executive MBA program at the University of Warsaw.
